Philosophy

The name Blood, Sweat and Shears comes from my life dream to own and operate a salon and spa. It represents how my husband and I have worked diligently to grow our business to where it is today. It represents how hard we have strived to give quality services with precision technique and style.

Environment

Our Salon and Spa is located at 220 East Walton Ave. Altoona, PA 16602. We recently moved from our original location to a newly renovated building offering more space and an atmosphere. My dream provides not only beautiful hair, nails and makeup… also a gallery of artwork. I would classify our environment as authentic, laid back, comfortable and down to earth.

Services & Products

Our salon and spa specializes in advanced color technique, hair cuttery design for all genders, face and body hair removal waxing technique, skin care therapy, and makeup for all occasions. Our product lines are selected for our guests based on their quality ingredients, the health benefits for hair, skin and nails over extended use, and the brand philosophy.
